Come join us for an evening with Dr. Sheldon Solomon, Professor of Psychology at Skidmore College. We’ll be discussing his book The Worm at the Core: On the Role of Death in Life which encapsulates 25 years of research on “terror management theory” and how the human awareness and fear of death influences our lives. The book highlights that throughout human history "the terror of death has guided the development of art, religion, language, economics and science. It raised the pyramids in Egypt ..."
