The workshop will include discussion of:
- Types of patients with chronic pain, including challenges that arise in the course of treatment
- The biopsychosocial model of chronic pain
- Psychosocial factors influencing the experience of pain, including mood, anxiety, social context, behavioral patterns
- Pain management tools/techniques
- Measures to monitor treatment progress
- Goal-setting
